The Cabinet today approved the purchase of 36 Rafale fighter jets from French firm Dassault Aviation for the Indian Airforce. French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian will arrive in New Delhi tomorrow - September 22, 2016 and the deal will be signed on Sept 23rd, after which he will address a joint press conference along with his Indian counterpart Manohar Parrikar
