The journey of revitalization did not start in a day. The man behind the  rejuevenation  and  revitalastion of the Infrstructure, procedures and the trig  methodology and most importantly the mindset of the establishment and the potential officers towards training has been none other than Gen Bobby Mathews who with his tremendous experience of two Academies and his previous stint in OTA has brought about this radical turn around.
The OTA ball is an age old tradition and held for each Passing Out Course. The young warriors whose physical and mental limits are repeatedly stretched during the training, eagerly await this special evening which is replete with unabashed fun, music and dance and of course the prestigious Mr and Miss OTA title.
This year the airport road opened for the glitterati of Chennai for a night on the 27th of August (Yesterday).  Lt.General Bobby Mathews, Commandant OTA and Mrs.Lina Mathews set the ball rolling to formally signify the commandant of the event for the evening. The title of Mr and Miss OTA is something which is coveted and desired by the trainees. It was a fascinating competition infused with ample humour and wit,and in the end there could only be one winner. Ankush was declared Mr.OTA while the Miss.OTA crown was bagged by Dipali and attractive prizes were presented to them for their achievements by  Lt.General Bobby Mathews.
